It is about to be a very interesting, busy and educational year for me. I am starting my last year of school and getting to work on my thesis. I will be spending quite a bit of time traveling and the spring and am spending quite a bit of time reading, researching and working right now.
It is because of this greater focus on my studies that some of my former past times have become chores for me. I am speaking primarily of my involvement with the fantastic online community known as Metal-R.Us. I have officially sent in my resignation to the owner of the site, Dennis and am now taking a sabbatical from even posting on the site. It is supposed to be fun and when something that should be fun feels like work, you stop doing it lest it drive you into the ground. I still stand by the site and will continue to support it but, I need time away from it.
For all those that love talking metal music, I highly recommend the site. You will get an education in a genre of music that is deeper and more complex then you can possibly imagine.
